Vista SP1 Video: (Expletive Deleted)
I think that many people have the same question for Microsoft today: WTF?
For those with a high tolerance for pain, I present The Vista Service Pack 1 video. Yes, I understand that is was produced as an internal, "motivational" video, but tell me how motivating it could be now that it is being ridiculed all over the Internet?
Some selected lines from the video:
- "Vista, gotta get me some"
- "Rock our sales with Vista and SP1"
- "Microsoft’s sales team rocks"
- "Our ecosystem rocks!"
Depressing.
Update: Charles Cooper with cnet claims the video was an intentional spoof.
Sure it was. Because no one has ever done something totally embarrassing, and then said "I meant to do that".
If it is true, then maybe Microsoft is finally "getting it" about their image. My feeling though, is that this is just spin in an attempt to calm the storm.
Either way, Microsoft losses.
